Guardian Tales Guild Raid guide

Updated 8 September 2026

Guild Raid is Guardian Tales' co-op damage race. Every other week your whole guild attacks the same four level-100 bosses, and the only thing that matters is total damage: kill a boss and it comes straight back at higher power for the next round. This guide covers the rules that shape how you build for it, and lists the ailment weakness of every boss that has ever appeared so you can prep before a season starts.

How a raid week works

A Guild Raid runs seven days, opening Thursday on Global servers (Friday on Korea) every second week. Your guild faces four bosses at once, each fixed at level 100 and each tied to one Element for that season. You get three Entry Tickets per day.

There are no health bars to deplete for good. You have 60 seconds per attempt; whatever damage you deal in that window is added to your guild's running total. Kill the boss inside 60 seconds and you are paid double rewards and the boss immediately respawns at the next round with more health and more power — so the higher your guild climbs, the bigger each individual hit lands, which is what lets top guilds keep scaling.

From day 4 to day 7 one of the four bosses becomes the fever boss: attacks from the Element it is weak to deal an extra 150%. Save your strongest matching team for the fever boss once it is announced.

Why you need a deep roster, not a strong one

Each Hero can only be committed once per day. Once a Hero attacks a boss, they are locked out until the next day's reset — so using all three daily tickets needs at least twelve different built Heroes.

Twelve is only the floor. The four bosses each have a different Element and a different ailment weakness, so a roster that can actually score well needs a competent team for each of the four Elements in rotation — closer to 16-20 combat-ready Heroes with their Exclusive Weapon and Awakening done.

Team Combination Skills are disabled in Guild Raid, so building a party around a Combination Skill pairing does nothing here. Chain Skills still work and are a large part of your damage — see the Chain Skills guide.

Building a raid team

Match the boss's current-season Element first: your attacking Element comes from the equipped weapon, so a Hero holding an off-Element weapon still contributes advantage damage if the weapon matches. The 130% advantage multiplier is the single biggest lever you have.

Stack defense shred. Boss health is enormous, so effects that cut the boss's Defense, its Melee/Ranged Defense, or its elemental resistance multiply everyone's damage for the rest of the 60 seconds. Heroes and Exclusive Weapons that apply a lasting Defense-down are worth more here than a slightly higher raw hitter.

Bring single-target burst, not clear. There is one target and a hard 60-second clock, so AoE and add-clear tools are wasted — you want your highest sustained damage-per-second Hero as the party leader (they get the Weapon Skill), backed by Chain-Skill partners whose ailments chain into each other and a buffer/defense-shredder in the last slot.

Feed the ailment the boss is weak to. If the boss is weak to Airborne, a Weapon Skill that applies Airborne stuns it faster and its Chain-Skill window opens sooner; the table below lists every boss's weakness.

Recurring boss reference

Every boss that has appeared in Guild Raid so far, with the ailment it is weak to (this does not change between appearances) and where it first showed up in the game. A boss's Element is rotated each season, so the "Seen as" column is the set of Elements it has used, not its weakness — always check the current season's Element in-game.

Read the ailment column against the Chain Skills guide: build that season's team around Heroes whose Weapon Skill and Chain Skill apply the listed ailment.

Rewards

Attacking a boss at all pays the attacker Gold, EXP, Strengthening Hammers, or Coffee and Star Pieces, win or lose. The main prize is Battle Medals plus Diamonds, handed to the whole guild after the season ends and scaled to the guild's final rank — from roughly 64 Battle Medals / 700 Diamonds near the bottom up to 130 / 3,100 for the top guild.

Battle Medals are spent in Kamazon on costumes and other cosmetics; the Diamonds are the reason to take raid seriously as a free-to-play account.
