At a glance
- Why this tier
Winning the stage war is what ranks Pterolux in S: Draconic Terror and End of All reward it on 110 ATK and 105 DEF. Against DEF boosts it opens with no edge.

How to use Pterolux
Pterolux is the reward for completing the Season 1 Starcolour gallery, and whether a free player can finish that in time is disputed. On the field it wins the stage war: Draconic Terror drops the enemy's DEF 2 stages on entry, and End of All gains 10% Pierce and costs 1 less SP for each ATK stage it holds over the enemy's DEF stage.
110 ATK and 105 DEF are both among the highest in the game, but against a Lumi already carrying DEF boosts it opens with no edge.

Each column is the species' own Min–Max range at its reference level — the exact spread the in-game Aptitude tab shows (an individual catch rolls somewhere inside it). See the Stat Rankings to sort the whole roster by any of these. Attack Speed is the Skill tab's Attack Interval: the seconds between automatic basic attacks, fixed per species, so lower is faster. Every basic attack deals the same damage per second, so a quicker one lands more hits rather than more damage, which is what on-hit effects care about. Each Swift stack speeds it up by 10% and each Paralysis stack slows it by 10%.
