A front-liner should protect someone, and Herculeaf has no damage cut or shield to do it with. Statchew replaces it in any squad, since it guards a front row of any element; Herculeaf belongs on Sawing.
Overview
Herculeaf sits in the front row with nothing to hold it there. Powerful Pounce thumps one nearby enemy for 480%, and the rest of the kit is a basic swipe and a camp passive, so it takes hits for the team without cutting any of the damage or giving anything back. On an SR stat line with no Evolution, it folds early in any fight that lasts. Statchew is the fix even on a mixed team, since Sentinel lowers damage for the whole front row whatever its element, and Ghillant takes over once you go Pure Earth.
Put Herculeaf on a Sawing job instead. Bear-y Strong adds 20% Lumber there, and it also takes Building shifts, which is where an SR with nothing to grow into earns its keep.
