The S comes from Leafy Hug, 600000 HP on every Palmon you own, deployed or not, from the day Season 2 opens. As a fighter it is only fair: the wreath never reaches the enemy back row.
Overview
You never have to field Oleana for it to earn its S. It joins the codex as Season 2 opens, and Leafy Hug gives every Palmon on the account 600000 more HP whether Oleana is deployed or not, so Water and Fire squads get sturdier the day it arrives too.
In battle it is a fair back-liner rather than a star. Wreath Toss hits each enemy in the front row for 753%, solid against a tank line and useless against a carry hiding behind one. There is no Evolution to fix that reach, and our Pure Earth team fills its back row with Scorphelia and Rootwarden instead. Catch it early in Season 2 even if it never joins a squad, since the S is earned by the passive alone and every week without it is HP your whole roster goes without.
