Rootwarden · Current meta: B on the Palmon Survival tier list

A 70% Entangle chance per target makes its control a gamble until it evolves, which is why the base form sits a band below Thornkeeper.

Thornkeeper · Current meta: A on the Palmon Survival tier list

Three enemies entangled on every cast, no longer a gamble, earns it a slot in our Pure Earth team. Random targeting keeps it under Scorphelas, which always picks the highest-Attack threats.

Overview

Rootwarden reaches the codex when Season 2 opens and brings Earth control over several enemies at once. Rootbind sends vines at 3 random enemies for 794% each and tries to Entangle them for 3s. In the base form that attempt is a 70% chance per target, so the control is unreliable until it evolves: a cast that ties up all three is the lucky case rather than the plan, and that gap is most of the difference between its two bands. As Thornkeeper, Forest Awakening closes it: Entangle becomes certain and Rootbind hits 30% harder.

What never changes is the aim. The vines pick at random, so the enemy carry can walk free while two tanks are held, and Primal Sigil's Accuracy and damage help only Rootwarden. That is why our Pure Earth team funds Scorphelia first and fits Rootwarden beside her.

Stages

The evolved and Mega forms each have a page: the steps that unlock them, what they cost and the skills they add.
