Start with +1 Forest card in your hand.
9 Kings/Kings

Nature grows wide and heals. Forests add 2% HP a year to the plots beside them, Procreate adds 9 units to a troop, and Clone copies the card on a plot, so one good plot becomes two. A Boar gives the troop riding it +1% to its stats for each point of Boar HP, which makes Forest HP worth more than it looks once Elves are next door. The Treant's field heals allies and damages enemies in one cast, and a Mycelium adds a spore every 9 seconds of battle that stays for later fights. Elves fire once every 8.3 seconds, so the early years depend on the Treant.

Treant
PatronageBuild the base, not the army. Patronage pushes the Treant past its level cap, its field of healing and damage keeps spreading, and deep into an endless run the waves die where they stand.Open buildSoloVenom Wall
Wallmaker
Forest
CauldronA wall that grows by itself and a base that poisons whatever is hitting it. Forests feed the Wallmaker, a Cauldron arms the Treant, and Venom doubles the poison.Open build
Three snipers a card that always shoot the most distant target, 18 attack each at level 1. They kill the enemy backline while something else holds the front.

Gives the troop riding it +1% stats for each HP the Boar has. Every HP buff in the deck is aimed here.

Adds 2% HP a year to the plots beside it. On a Boar that HP becomes rider stats, and on a wall it is simply more wall.

Looted from the King of Stone. It makes the attacks of the plots beside it poisonous, 3 stacks a level, which is the damage a kingdom of walls and Forests otherwise lacks.

Also the King of Stone's. Its walls gain 10% HP a year by themselves and Forests add to them, so the troops behind never have to tank.
Playing a card onto its own plot again levels it up. Multipliers stack: a card at level 3 carries its level-up boost twice.
