9 Kings/Quest List
9 Kings Quest List
Quest Mode opens once you beat one run. Every quest is a run with a fixed twist: a kingdom that starts half built, a single enemy, a deck that only draws one card, or a rule like no gold at all. All 82 are below with the game's own rules for each, and every card or decree a rule names links to its page, so you can read what you are about to be handed before you start.

How the quests are built
- Revolts (9): one for each king, fought only against that king's rebellion.
- Total Wars (9): one for each king, fought against every other king, and each starts with the Supplies decree.
- One-enemy quests (9): the other quests that set your enemy pit you against a single king. Hunting Game adds a draw rule on top: from the King of Nature you only get Boar cards.
- Starting-kingdom quests (34 change nothing else): the kingdom opens already full of one card, like Orchards on every plot in Arboretum or Cemeteries in Necropolis. The opening is the whole twist, so read the cards you are handed first: each one links to its page.
- Hard limits: Broke As Hell gives no gold, Blitz must be won in under 9 minutes 9 seconds, Last Stand starts with 33 cards and one year to fight, and Nowhereland removes merchants, decrees, blessings and diplomats. The Run Calendar shows what a normal run would bring instead.
- Difficulty: quests have three of their own. Knight is the casual one for trying things out, King is the intended one, and Chaos brings extremely strong enemies. Chaos and the daily quests unlock once every quest is beaten. The switch sits in the bottom left corner of the quest screen.
- Advice for the hardest ones is in the Quest Mode and Chaos Quests guide.
