Why this tier

Dreamtapir is B for sleep teams, since every Asleep it consumes returns Energy and powers Dreamy Illusion, backed by 104 HP. With 80 ATK it trails Meteofly, which turns naps into stat stages.

How to use Dreamtapir

Dreamtapir feeds on sleep. Dream Walker consumes Asleep from any Lumi on the field when it casts, gaining 1 Energy each, and Dreamy Illusion gains 20% damage and 10% lifesteal per Asleep consumed. Fall Asleep lets it supply its own. 104 HP is sturdy, but 80 ATK is weak. Meteofly is the better sleep pick.

Each column is the species' own Min–Max range at its reference level — the exact spread the in-game Aptitude tab shows (an individual catch rolls somewhere inside it). See the Stat Rankings to sort the whole roster by any of these. Attack Speed is the Skill tab's Attack Interval: the seconds between automatic basic attacks, fixed per species, so lower is faster. Every basic attack deals the same damage per second, so a quicker one lands more hits rather than more damage, which is what on-hit effects care about. Each Swift stack speeds it up by 10% and each Paralysis stack slows it by 10%.
