How to use Hooksting

Hooksting starts the Scorpio line with the same round trip: Stinger hits, ducks into Ambush, and returns with Scorpio Gleam I to spread its Poison. At 10 power the hit is weak. Earth Spike and Poison Swamp give it traps. Astrasting does the whole routine with far more bite, so evolve it rather than building this form.

Each column is the species' own Min–Max range at its reference level — the exact spread the in-game Aptitude tab shows (an individual catch rolls somewhere inside it). See the Stat Rankings to sort the whole roster by any of these. Attack Speed is the Skill tab's Attack Interval: the seconds between automatic basic attacks, fixed per species, so lower is faster. Every basic attack deals the same damage per second, so a quicker one lands more hits rather than more damage, which is what on-hit effects care about. Each Swift stack speeds it up by 10% and each Paralysis stack slows it by 10%.
