Sets the weather to Rain on entering battle. Each Wet stack it spends gives every other ally 1 Wet.
Lumi Master/Lumis

At a glance
- Why this tier
Xuan Wu drops to A: its 81 ATK is below every S Lumi's, and Grass, the type of four of them, hits it for 4x. With 125 DEF, Rain on entry and quarter damage from Fire it still walls Burn teams.
Xuan Wu's skills
Fixed kit always on Xuan Wu, can't be swapped
Hits every enemy on the field and washes Burn off every Lumi on the field. If this Lumi has no Wet it gains 3 Wet; otherwise each Wet stack raises its DEF by 1 stage.
Its automatic attack: a Water hit every 1.3s for 13 power. That is slower than most, so anything that triggers per hit rather than per point of damage fires less often here.
Swappable skills choose which one to equip
Hits the current enemy and switches out; the Lumi coming in gains +1 DEF stage.
Hits the current enemy; this Lumi keeps half of its Wet stacks instead of spending them.
Raises this Lumi's DEF by 2 stages.
Hits the current enemy with +15 power per Wet stack on this Lumi. If it has no Wet, it gains 2 Wet instead.
Hits the current enemy. If this Lumi is not already carrying Wet, it gains 5 Wet.
Hits every enemy on the field with falling rock; +50% power when there is more than one target.

How to use Xuan Wu
Xuan Wu is a Rain anchor and a hard stop for Burn teams. Its 125 DEF is the highest in the game, it sets Rain on entry, and that Rain switches on Shriegon - Variant's Rain Summoner, which is why the game's own line-ups pair the two. Deluge washes Burn off the field.
Fire hits it for a quarter, so Charigon and Zhu Que struggle into it. The price is 81 ATK, and Grass hits it for 4x, so Floragon and Thornbloom go straight through it. It is a rare paid pull, worth it only if you already run Rain.

Each column is the species' own Min–Max range at its reference level — the exact spread the in-game Aptitude tab shows (an individual catch rolls somewhere inside it). See the Stat Rankings to sort the whole roster by any of these. Attack Speed is the Skill tab's Attack Interval: the seconds between automatic basic attacks, fixed per species, so lower is faster. Every basic attack deals the same damage per second, so a quicker one lands more hits rather than more damage, which is what on-hit effects care about. Each Swift stack speeds it up by 10% and each Paralysis stack slows it by 10%.
