Palmon SurvivalPalmon Survival quietly cut SSR growth: what it means for your squad
A data update with no new app version cut every SSR Palmon's level 300 Attack by about 28% and HP by about 43%, and limited three SSR passives to non-explorer targets. Our numbers, and what we'd change.
What changed
Palmon Survival ships balance changes as a download on top of the app, so the store version can stay the same while the numbers move. When we re-checked the game's data on 22 September, the app was unchanged but a newer data update had cut the growth of all 16 SSR Palmon lines. Every Palmon of the same rarity shares one stat line, so the cut hit all of them equally.
At level 300 an SSR used to reach about 43,000 Attack and 7.09 million HP. It now reaches 31,173 Attack, 6,324 Defense and 4,059,340 HP. Every Palmon page and the Stat Rankings on the site show the new figures.

How far behind UR that puts them
A UR at level 300 has 57,133 Attack, 11,630 Defense and 8,520,071 HP. Before the update an SSR carried about three quarters of a UR's Attack and over 80% of its HP. Now it carries 55% of the Attack and 48% of the HP: roughly half a UR on every line.
That changes how long SSRs are worth keeping in a squad. In the early teams we list, an SSR holds a slot while your URs are still unbuilt, and that hasn't changed. What has changed is the payoff for levelling one further. Every level you put into an SSR now buys about half of what the same level buys a UR, so move your upgrades to URs as soon as you have them to field.
Three SSR passives now work only against non-explorer targets
The same update limited three SSR passives to non-explorer targets, the monsters you fight rather than other players' squads. Against monsters they work as before. Against other players they do nothing, so none of the three is worth a slot in a player-versus-player squad.
PlatyputzEvery Ascension step on Bubble Shield, and the Blunt Sense damage cut, now apply only against non-explorer targets. Ranked D.
SnowkamiIts 12.5% Attack bonus, and every Ascension step on it, now applies only against non-explorer targets. Ranked B.
SqueezelWater Surge's bonus to Aqua Cannon applies only against non-explorer targets. Ranked B, as a starter-team damage slot.
What we changed on the site
The site's Palmon data now comes from the game's downloaded update as well as the app itself, and we check both whenever we refresh the game. The stat pages, the radar on each Palmon page and the Stat Rankings all carry the new SSR line, and Platyputz's write-up was reworded to say its shield only scales against monsters.
