About the game

Magic Chess: GoGo in brief

What Magic Chess: GoGo is

Magic Chess: GoGo is Moonton's eight-player auto-battler built on Mobile Legends heroes. Each round you buy heroes from a shop that all eight players share, place them on your board, and watch them fight on their own against creeps or another player. Losing costs your Commander HP, and the last player standing wins.

Two things set it apart from other auto-battlers. You pick a Commander before the match, and its skill and Power Card decide where your advantage comes from: gold, free heroes or stronger items. And the season rotates the Synergies, so Season 7's Echomancer, SPECTRE, Starbelle and Mistbender lines play differently from anything before them.

What decides a match

Three decisions win most games. The first is the Commander: in Season 7.1 the equipment and safety-net commanders lead, and a new one, Brody, turns spare heroes into 5-cost ones. The second is gold: interest, the level 9 checkpoint, and knowing when to stop banking and roll. The third is the Synergy you commit to and the heroes that carry it.

Decide the plan before the gold goes out: a 3-cost re-roll, a 4-cost board and a legend rush each want different levels, and the Commander you chose usually points to one of them.

Where to start here

If you are new, read the beginner guide for the rules, then the economy & board basics guide. If you know the game, start with the Commanders page: it ranks this patch's commanders and explains each pick, with every commander's skill, star-up and Power Card in the game's own numbers. The Synergies page lists every Synergy with its breakpoints and Ultra level, and the Magic Auction guide covers the bidding mode and its 18 commander skills.
