About the game

MAJO - Apocalypse Tactics RPG in brief

What MAJO is

MAJO - Apocalypse Tactics RPG is a real-time team RPG where timing decides fights. You field four Witches drawn from four Classes (Defender, Vanguard, Arcanist and Supporter) and win by dodging and blocking at the right moment: most Class Skills fire as a Dodge Counter or a Block Counter, and knocking an enemy down opens Execution skills that only hit downed targets.

Behind each fighter sit two Interference Sub-Slots, where a Witch of the same Class lends a passive skill instead of fighting. That, not gear, is the real per-Witch build choice.

What to focus on first

Gear belongs to the Class rather than the Witch, and Talent Serums are split by Class too, so the cheapest first team is one Witch per Class. Raise that team of four before anyone else: Class Levels first, then that Class's equipment, then Stars 3 and 4, which unlock each Witch's Auto Skill and Passive.

Star 3 is the biggest single jump for most Witches, because it unlocks the Auto Skill: Carmen gets her rescue heal there and Jenny her Execution. Buy it on your main four before starting a second team.

For pulls, stay within one banner series. Limited and Eternal pity carries from banner to banner and shrinks towards 60 pulls, while an Origin Wishlist count is lost when its pool closes.

Where to start on this site

New players should open the Beginner guide first; it covers rerolling, pity, the first week and every game mode. The tier list ranks the 26 Witches you can pull today for PvE, and each Witch page explains how to use her, who does her job better and which comps she fits.

Best Teams has seven line-ups with their substitutes and weak spots, and the Team building guide shows how to adapt them to the roster you actually have. The Progression guide lists every upgrade in the order to buy it.
