Once Countervolt fires, every Electric ally becomes a counter threat, which punishes teams that dive. A, not S: nothing happens before that first cast, and its damage cut overlaps with Shadowvolt's.
Is Keraunosaur worth it?
Keraunosaur turns a personal counter-shield into a squad-wide one. Aetherfury Bolt makes every Electric ally counterattack twice for 300% when hit, for as long as Countervolt's own shield is up, so an enemy team that focuses your front line takes damage from the whole back row for doing it. In an all-Electric squad that is one of the largest damage swings any Evolution III buys. In a mixed team it is close to nothing, since only Electric allies counter. There is a second thing to check before spending: Thunderous Boon's 12.5% damage reduction does not stack with Shadowvolt's, so if you are already running the Mega, part of what you are paying for here is redundant. Fulgairy is still the cheaper of the two to finish. Evolution IV closes the line with 7% squad Defense and HP for everyone, fielded or not.
