Overview
How good Hoofrit is depends on how far you have taken it. At launch it is a B. Blazing Volley only reaches the back row and only stuns targets that are already burning, and an early Fire team rarely has the burn in place to make that happen. Evolution changes the answer. As Flaries every critical hit sets a burn, and with Blazing Crescendo's 20% Crit Rate it starts its own stun chain instead of waiting on Magmolin. That makes it the first Fire unit worth evolving.
Further on, Solhorn is the Mega a burn team should be saving for, because its circle grows with every burned enemy. The one thing no form fixes is the front row. Against a tank-heavy lineup the volley lands on nothing that matters, so bring Magmolin's area burn alongside it.
