S for the way it punishes focus fire: every chunk of HP lost sends it into Stealth, then it reappears with a stronger fan. It sits under Cryovern, whose freeze decides fights before focus fire starts.
Is Shadowkaeru worth it?
Shadowkaeru is the Mega a Water account should build first, and it is the one Mega whose skill changes how the Palmon plays. Croakcloak sends it into Stealth for 3 seconds every time it loses 35% of its HP, where it cannot attack or be targeted, and when Stealth ends it instantly recasts Strike Like a Waterfall. Shadow Slash at Evolution VIII makes that free fan 70% stronger. So the harder the enemy team focuses Ninjump, the more often it vanishes and the more extra damage it deals, which is a rare case of a squishy back-liner being rewarded for being attacked. In long fights it is the most damage any Water Mega adds. It is also the easiest Mega to justify paying for, because Ninjump is usually the first Palmon a Water account gets to 25 stars anyway. Leviadolph comes second.
