Is Lionarch worth it?
Lionarch is bought for one number. Tidal Majesty raises King of the Waves by 50%, taking the damage bonus every Water ally is running on from 12.5% to a noticeably larger cut, and unlike most Evolution III skills it applies to the whole squad rather than to its owner. On a Water team with Ninjump, Fingenue or Lucidina doing the killing, that multiplier is worth more than any personal upgrade Regalion could get. There is a condition attached that the Evolution does not remove: the aura only runs while Regalion is standing. It has modest stats and no defensive skill, so it should sit behind Dolphriend or Kungpaw rather than leading the line, and a Regalion that dies in the opening burst takes the buff with it. Outside a Water squad this is Essence with nowhere to land.
