Her Evolution bonus lands on full-health targets, so the opening Ebb against a fresh front row hits hardest of all. That early swing puts her level with Cryovern, though it fades as the front row drops.
Is Abysphira worth it?
Abysphira is a first-strike upgrade, which suits the Palmon it is bolted to. Tide Hunt adds 40% damage to Sylphira's Ebb against targets above 50% HP, and the Ebb hits the whole enemy front row for 1458% with a further 25% on the highest-HP target among them. All of those conditions are true at the start of a fight, when enemy tanks are still full, so the Evolution lands hardest exactly when Sylphira casts first. As the front row drops below half health the bonus disappears, but by then the damage has been done. She is the best Water Palmon of the Conquest Season and this is the step to fund first. The gap stays open: nothing in her kit reaches the enemy back row, so Ninjump's fan or Glacewing's freeze still has to cover it. Mythics end at Evolution IV.
