Away from battle, Palmon are assigned to base jobs. Each Palmon carries one or more job tags, and a tag is what lets it work that kind of task. There are 18 tags in the current build. This guide covers how to assign efficiently — the job tags on each Palmon's page tell you what it can do.
The one rule
Assign your BENCH Palmon to jobs. Keep your best Palmon for Combat (the base-defence assignment) — a strong combat Palmon wasted on logging is a strong combat Palmon you don't have.
Within your bench, match rarity to value: put your best bench Palmon on the highest-value job (whatever resource you're short of), and your weakest on whatever's left.
Keep every station staffed at all times. An idle job station produces nothing, and you fall behind on the resource it makes.
Job priority — what to keep staffed first
Combat — the base's defence / raid assignment. This isn't optional; it's where your active team effectively sits when not in a stage.
The two or three resources gating your current upgrades — usually Lumber (Logging / Sawing) and Steel (Mining / Smelting) early, then the specialist materials (Extracting, Analyzing) as you push evolution.
Generator maintenance and Charging — these keep the base's power up, which the higher-tier stations need.
Brick Kiln maintenance and Building — needed while you're actively upgrading base structures; can be de-prioritised once the base is built out.
Watering, Planting and Harvesting — food / crop production; keep one Palmon on it, scale up only if food is your bottleneck.
Efficiency notes
A higher-rarity Palmon generally works a job faster / produces more — but the difference rarely justifies benching a combat carry for it.
Upgrade the job STATIONS themselves as you can afford it — a higher-level station out-produces a better Palmon on a low-level one.
Rotate a fresh Palmon onto Training / Mastery Hall stations when you're pushing a specific Palmon's growth.
Speed-ups are best spent on the base's long production and building timers, not on combat stamina.
