Why this tier

Blazelym is a C-tier one-shot: it burns the enemy twice on the way out and its Self-Destruct peaks at full HP, then the slot is empty. Flamblades gives a Fire team damage that stays on the field.

How to use Blazelym

Blazelym leaves a parting burn: Fire Gel puts 2 Burn on the current enemy when it goes down, and its Self-Destruct grows with the HP it still has, so it is only worth firing while healthy. Fire Vortex can lay a trap first. Its flat 84 to 85 stats offer little beyond that. Flamblades is the real Fire pick.

Each column is the species' own Min–Max range at its reference level — the exact spread the in-game Aptitude tab shows (an individual catch rolls somewhere inside it). See the Stat Rankings to sort the whole roster by any of these. Attack Speed is the Skill tab's Attack Interval: the seconds between automatic basic attacks, fixed per species, so lower is faster. Every basic attack deals the same damage per second, so a quicker one lands more hits rather than more damage, which is what on-hit effects care about. Each Swift stack speeds it up by 10% and each Paralysis stack slows it by 10%.
