Why this tier

Branchling lands at B because the guaranteed crits and ATK stages from Branch need setup turns that 80 DEF rarely survives. Cyclodoge gives Brawler teams a front line that actually holds.

How to use Branchling

Branchling builds to one big crit. Branch guarantees a crit after three basic-attack hits on a target, and Head Smash doubles its damage at ATK stage 4 and adds 2 more stages on a crit, so Warm Up goes first. 80 DEF makes the setup risky. Cyclodoge is the better Brawler to build if you have it.

Each column is the species' own Min–Max range at its reference level — the exact spread the in-game Aptitude tab shows (an individual catch rolls somewhere inside it). See the Stat Rankings to sort the whole roster by any of these. Attack Speed is the Skill tab's Attack Interval: the seconds between automatic basic attacks, fixed per species, so lower is faster. Every basic attack deals the same damage per second, so a quicker one lands more hits rather than more damage, which is what on-hit effects care about. Each Swift stack speeds it up by 10% and each Paralysis stack slows it by 10%.
