Why this tier

Clawrret holds A because High-Pressure Water Cannon grows with every basic attack, up to +300%, and Ironclad Defense heals it on enemy switches. A single forced swap wipes that build-up, which keeps it below Clionia.

How to use Clawrret

Clawrret wants to stay in. High-Pressure Water Cannon gains 10% damage for every basic attack it makes, up to +300%, and loses it all on a switch, so the longer it sits on the field the harder the signature lands. Ironclad Defense heals it 15% whenever an enemy switches in, which punishes swap-heavy teams.

105 DEF helps it stay, but a forced swap resets the whole build-up. Clionia does more for a Water team; Clawrret is for grinding one opponent down.

Each column is the species' own Min–Max range at its reference level — the exact spread the in-game Aptitude tab shows (an individual catch rolls somewhere inside it). See the Stat Rankings to sort the whole roster by any of these. Attack Speed is the Skill tab's Attack Interval: the seconds between automatic basic attacks, fixed per species, so lower is faster. Every basic attack deals the same damage per second, so a quicker one lands more hits rather than more damage, which is what on-hit effects care about. Each Swift stack speeds it up by 10% and each Paralysis stack slows it by 10%.
