At a glance

Aest.
Why this tier

Once-per-battle sleep heal and a wake-up ATK boost on 98 ATK. Meteofly does the same with DEF stages too, so it is a stop on the way.

Flufferfly's skills

Fixed kit always on Flufferfly, can't be swapped

Trait · passiveHead in the Clouds

When its HP falls below 50%, it heals 50% of its max HP and falls asleep. Up to 1 time per battle.

Signature skillButterfly's Lullaby

Hits the current enemy. If this Lumi is Asleep, it gains 2 ATK stages and wakes up.

PsychicCost 5Power 60

Basic attackCloudwing Smash

Its automatic attack: a Psychic hit every 1.2s for 12 power. That is slower than most, so anything that triggers per hit rather than per point of damage fires less often here.

How to use Flufferfly

Flufferfly plays the sleep game early. Head in the Clouds heals it 50% and puts it to sleep once per battle when it drops below half, and Butterfly's Lullaby wakes it with two ATK stages. Hypnotize and Tornado add control and buff stripping, so it can hold a slot early.

It gains only ATK where Meteofly gains ATK and DEF, and 60 power is a light signature. Evolve it into Meteofly once it reaches Lv. 50.

Each column is the species' own Min–Max range at its reference level — the exact spread the in-game Aptitude tab shows (an individual catch rolls somewhere inside it). See the Stat Rankings to sort the whole roster by any of these. Attack Speed is the Skill tab's Attack Interval: the seconds between automatic basic attacks, fixed per species, so lower is faster. Every basic attack deals the same damage per second, so a quicker one lands more hits rather than more damage, which is what on-hit effects care about. Each Swift stack speeds it up by 10% and each Paralysis stack slows it by 10%.
