Magic Chess: GoGo/Commanders
How to play Ruby
AThird this patch: her two weapons carry any Defender and Phasewarper board, but both carriers must survive for her to pay, where Minotaur's items work on any board.
Ruby's skill is a matched pair of Equipment. The Cloak goes on a hero who can take hits and marks whatever it attacks; the Scythe goes on a damage dealer, which strikes that marked enemy every 2 seconds.
Placement is her whole game. The Cloak wants a front-liner, and Defender with Phasewarper is the pairing that keeps both carriers standing, which matters for money too: her card pays 2 Gold per surviving carrier. Until the star-up's revive arrives, losing the Cloak wearer early leaves the Scythe with nothing marked to chase.
Skill — Red Hood's Rage
Ruby gives you two pieces of Equipment. The Cloak's wearer marks its current target with every Basic ATK (one Rage Mark at a time, moving with the wearer's target) and heals 10% HP when the marked enemy dies. The Scythe's wearer hits the marked enemy every 2 seconds for 260% Adaptive ATK as Physical DMG.
Star-up: Life from Death. The Cloak's wearer revives once per round with 30% HP after dying, and when that happens the Scythe's wearer gains +55% Hybrid ATK.
Power Card
Gain 2 Gold for each survived Cloak or Scythe carrier when battle ends. Max Gold: 35 (Exclusive to Commander Ruby)
