Pink Slime is the only Rare pet that keeps working for the whole fight. Heal restores HP and clears 5 random debuffs every 4 seconds, and its second star adds more cleansing each time it heals, which brings it close to Flora's output. In the early chapters, against poison-heavy enemies like the Goblin family, that clears Poison before it stacks up.
Flora still does more: her first star drops her cost to 2, and her later stars add Debuff Resist and Recovery, none of which the Slime gets. Pink Slime stays at 3 energy, and as a Rare pet it lowers your combat stats once Legendary pets join the lineup. Use it as a stopgap and replace it once Flora hatches. What it leaves behind is an ownership bonus, a 5% Total HP lift for each hero.
