Eruptions every 3s feed 2 Rage to each Fire ally, which suits long fights. It trails Solhorn because its damage never grows with burn, and both cost the same Oath-and-Aurora path.
Is Inferdrake worth it?
Inferdrake is the Mega that sounds better than it plays. Volcano Burst summons a volcano that erupts 4 seconds into the fight and again every 3 seconds, hitting every enemy for 480%, and Burning Spirit at Evolution VIII gives all Fire allies 2 Rage per eruption, which does add up in a long battle. The Rage is the stronger half; the damage itself is steady but weak next to a circle that grows with burn.
The problem is the comparison. Solhorn's circle hits for 1500%, scales with the burn your team is already applying, and costs exactly the same. A Fire account that can afford one Mega should build that one. Inferdrake earns its place later, as a second Mega on an account with Aurora Essence to spare, or on a squad leaning on constant Rage cycling rather than one large hit. Nothing here is bad; it is just second in its own element.
