(Low end of S — it's a buffer, not a carry.)","The best Legendary — a death beam that, paired with Anubis's damage mark, insta-kills everything including bosses. Needs no leveling or stars. Clears the final maps.","The best Fire unit — a global fire slash for ~13× damage. Max level and star her. (Grinnn notes she's expensive, but the payoff justifies it here where other expensive units don't.)","Marks enemies to take 5× damage — the enabler for every insta-kill combo (with Deathbite, Devon). Useful from the moment you get him, no leveling needed.","Stun immunity — required for Kami Pantheon, Meat of the Matter, the Spectre Club and most endgame. No leveling needed; usable the moment you get her.","The best global-stun unit since Slime King's nerf. Evolve her for a big attack jump; leveling is optional.","Instant 180% team speed boost; with his Monster Card and stars, a global 500% speed boost. Decent attack too. A necessary unit.","The best slow-down unit in the game — infinite range, strong attack and special. Max and star him."]

The Cosmic Tower (waves 33 / 66 / 99)SCosmic Tower — Devon one-shotThe Cosmic Tower's Lord of the Tower gates progress at waves 33, 66 and 99 with huge HP pools that out-scale flat damage. Devon's percent-HP strip doesn't care about that scaling — pair it with Anubis's mark and it one-shots almost anything.

Ice Queen · Volcano Goddess · elemental modesSElemental bosses & mapsThe elemental maps gate progression. Each wants the counter-element damage plus a specific immunity. After the recent update a single Dragon (any Draco Knight) can clear all of the elemental normal modes, so this is really about the harder difficulties.

Kami Pantheon · Master's Challenge · Spectre ClubSEndgame teamThe hardest recurring content. These maps punish specific things — stun, freeze, tanky waves — so the loadout is your core plus the exact counters each one demands.

Master's Challenge (30-wave elemental dragon gauntlet)SMaster's Challenge dragon gauntletMaster's Challenge throws an elemental dragon boss at waves 9 (Fire), 18 (Ice) and 27 (Electric), then all three together at wave 30 — so the team isn't one fixed lineup, it's a stun/mark backbone plus a rotating attacker you swap in per dragon.
