Why this tier

Netherfang moves to A on 115 ATK and Hellfire Spread, which carries Poison and Burn onto whatever comes in next, so trap teams keep their stacks. Five types hit it for double on 85 HP, so it must strike first.

How to use Netherfang

Netherfang carries 115 ATK, among the three highest in the game, and Hellfire adds 20% damage for every Burn and every Poison on the target. Hellfire Spread keeps those stacks on the enemy side through every switch, so it fits beside Poison Swamp and a roar.

It carries Poison Swamp and Toxic Spread to start the stacking itself, but it is better with a partner doing it first. 85 HP is weak, and Water, Ground, Flying, Light and Brawler all hit it for double. MEGA TOMATO is the safer Dark hitter.

Each column is the species' own Min–Max range at its reference level — the exact spread the in-game Aptitude tab shows (an individual catch rolls somewhere inside it). See the Stat Rankings to sort the whole roster by any of these. Attack Speed is the Skill tab's Attack Interval: the seconds between automatic basic attacks, fixed per species, so lower is faster. Every basic attack deals the same damage per second, so a quicker one lands more hits rather than more damage, which is what on-hit effects care about. Each Swift stack speeds it up by 10% and each Paralysis stack slows it by 10%.
