Why this tier

Netherfang - Variant sits in B because everything hangs on a slow ramp: it has to convert enemy Poison and Burn into siphons before its signature hits hard on 115 ATK.

Trait · passiveHellfire Spread - Variant

Whenever this Lumi enters, or lands Poisoned or Burn, it strips every stack of both from the whole enemy team and converts them into an equal number of Poison Siphon and Burning Siphon stacks for itself.

Hits the current enemy, and what it does depends on which siphon this Lumi is holding more of. More Burning Siphon: the hit turns Fire-type and gains 10% Life Steal per stack. More Poison Siphon: 10% extra damage per stack. Level pegging: 2 Poisoned onto the enemy instead.

How to use Netherfang - Variant

The Variant strips every Poison and Burn from the whole enemy team when it enters or applies them, turning them into siphon stacks on itself. Its signature then changes with whichever siphon it holds more of: Fire-type lifesteal or extra damage. 115 ATK backs it. It needs a full ramp first, which makes it a poor opener. MEGA TOMATO hits as hard without the ramp.

Each column is the species' own Min–Max range at its reference level — the exact spread the in-game Aptitude tab shows (an individual catch rolls somewhere inside it). See the Stat Rankings to sort the whole roster by any of these. Attack Speed is the Skill tab's Attack Interval: the seconds between automatic basic attacks, fixed per species, so lower is faster. Every basic attack deals the same damage per second, so a quicker one lands more hits rather than more damage, which is what on-hit effects care about. Each Swift stack speeds it up by 10% and each Paralysis stack slows it by 10%.
