Magic Chess: GoGo/Commanders

How to play Dyrroth
BA 1-star traded up one Gold cost every three rounds works like a slower Brody, and the random hero he hands back is often not one your board uses.
Dyrroth trades cheap heroes up. Every three rounds from Round I-4 he eats a 1-star hero and hands back a random hero one Gold higher, so a spare 3-cost becomes a 4-cost.
The star-up is where the plan lives: after every two devours, the next one returns two heroes that share a Synergy with the one eaten. Feed him 3-cost Dragoncallers such as Clint and the returns lean toward a 4-cost carry like Zilong. One devour every three rounds is slow, so the payoff lands in the mid game at the earliest.
Skill — Abyssal Devourer

From Round I-4, once every 3 rounds, Dyrroth can eat a 1-Star Hero and give back a Hero one Gold cost higher (5-Gold is the cap).
Star-up: Abyssal Favor. Each devour gives 1 Commander EXP. After every 2 devours, the next one returns 2 Heroes that each share a Synergy with the Hero eaten; eating a 5-Gold Hero returns 2 random 5-Gold Heroes.
Power Card

Every 3 rounds, devours a 1-Star Hero from your slot and gives a random Hero of +1 Gold cost (up to 5-Gold). Each devour grants 2 EXP.
