How to use Dyrroth
Bruiser is where Dyrroth earns his slot. Spectre Step powers up his next basic attack, and Bruiser lets enhanced basic attacks strike a second time, so a lucky proc doubles his best hit. His passive gives him and the allies directly beside him a little Hybrid Lifesteal at the start of battle, which rewards placing him between two other front-liners rather than on the end of the row.
He is not a tank. His 2-Star HP sits fifth of the eight 1-Gold heroes, so he trades blows rather than soaking them, and he falls behind once 4- and 5-Gold front-liners are available.
He is in four of our comps: Bruiser frontline, Kishin/Stargazer, Mistbender / Bruiser and Full Dragoncaller, where he holds the Dragoncaller Magic Crystal. Kishin gives a reason to keep buying him, since every Kishin hero bought again from the shop upgrades the Kishin-only equipment, and at 1 Gold he is the cheapest way to do it. Two-star him early; skip the 3-Star unless spare copies keep showing up.

KishinYou get a piece of Kishin-only equipment and all Kishin heroes gain Hybrid DEF. Buying Kishin heroes again from the shop upgrades that gear — up to Arcane (Tier 3) through the shop, and all the way to Supreme (Tier 4) once 10 Kishin heroes are active. Each shop upgrade refills the slot with another hero.
BruiserBruisers hit harder with basic attacks, and both their basic and enhanced basic attacks can strike a second time.
