How to use Luo Yi
Luo Yi casts almost nonstop. Her Mana Cap of 20 is the lowest of any 2-Gold hero and she starts full, so Dispersion goes off at once and comes back fast, hitting the first enemy and everyone behind them in a fan. That makes her good against enemies lined up in a column and weak against a spread board.
Each cast is light and her HP is middling for her cost, so she is a support body more than a carry. On her own she cannot finish fights.
Stargazer is why she is in four of our comps: every ally regenerates mana each second and Stargazers far more, and she is the second-cheapest Stargazer after Eudora. Kishin/Stargazer, Mage + Stargazer and Astro Power Stack all use her that way, and Dragon Altar uses her as its caster body. Buy her early whenever you plan Stargazer, two-star her, and keep her until Mathilda, Lunox or Nana fill the count.
