As a back-line shooter, Granger relies on raw speed: his 0.8 ATK Speed and range of 4 tie Miya for the highest at his cost, so he fills his mana quickly from basic attacks. Rhapsody then fires 5 shots at one target, good burst on a single enemy and useless against a crowd.
Everything hits a single target, so he struggles against boards with several tanks. His HP is middling for a 2-Gold hero and he has no defence in his kit.
His main job is SPECTRE. The first time you two-star a SPECTRE hero the game gifts a higher-cost one, and Granger is the second step on our SPECTRE to Alpha chain after Phoveus. He also counts for Marksman, so in a Marksman board he is early filler next to Miya until Irithel, Karrie or Melissa arrive. Two-star him early for the SPECTRE gift; skip the 3-Star and sell him once the chain moves on.
