A Mega for long fights: its damage climbs with every Palmon that falls, which suits guild boss and Pyramid battles more than a quick PvP exchange. Leafergarde comes first on an Earth account.
Is Pharohound worth it?
Pharohound is a late-fight Mega, and that is the honest way to judge it. Death Echo gives a flat 30% damage reduction, then 10% more damage for each Palmon defeated on either side, and Death Descends adds another 10% each time one of your own falls. Nothing in that list helps in the opening exchange. It pays off in long Conquest Season fights that grind down to a handful of survivors, where Pharohound ends up hitting far harder than it started. Evolution VIII also gives Earth allies 20% Stun and Freeze Resist, which is unconditional and useful immediately. If your Earth squad wins or loses in the first twenty seconds, this Mega is the wrong purchase. Gnashswirl comes first for most accounts. Treat this as a late purchase for a settled Earth squad rather than a first Mega.
