Calis

SElectricalJacker

Calis lost her parents at a young age and grew up alone in the Underground. Surrounded by strong people, she grew up wanting to become strong as well, and sought out the Bull of Creta to volunteer for admission. Because it was the "Never be Broken" myth gang, she expected it to be a truly terrifying place, but when she got there, the boss was painting and the underlings were tin mannequins walking around. Even so, she decided to act like a real gang member anyway: always wearing a stern expression, inspecting missions strictly, and speaking to her subordinates in a commanding tone. But everyone responded so well that her gang-member act ended up solidifying into the family's youngest Character. She would never admit it, though.

Why this tier

PvE CThe buff strip only fires after a 5% dodge, so Calis plays as a plain 160% hitter. Kirill hits harder in the same element and grade.

GFC CThe dispel needs a dodge first. Muro strips 2 buffs on attack at Speed 126.

Overview

Calis looks like a buff stripper and plays like a plain hitter. Calis's Strike hits one enemy for 160% every 2 turns; once skill Lv. 10 is in, it also slows that target by 15% for 2 turns. The passive counters for 70% after a dodge and, from Lv. 10, strips one buff. On paper that is a useful kit; in play the dodge gate makes it unreliable.

Dodge is 5%, so the buff strip, the only line that would make Calis special, rarely fires. Kirill hits harder at the same grade and element, 185% plus 90% on the enemies next to the target. Muro strips 2 buffs at a 60% chance on any attack, no dodge needed. Either is the better pick for Electrical resources.

Calis fills in for Kirill in Firewall Starter, or for Hugo in Firewall: Double Electrical, keeping the Electrical stone covered against DJ Madu.

Skip Calis unless Kirill and Hugo are both missing. When a better Electrical unit arrives, a Migration Core refunds the levels, gear, License and skills.

Exclusive gear

Calis has four gear pieces of their own, one per slot. Each is named anew at every grade; the Legendary piece is shown.

Skill unlock ladder

Calis's skills gain extra effects at fixed skill levels. The active skill can't go past half the character's level, and the passive opens at character Lv. 20. Spending Infinity in battle raises the skill level for that fight, so a gated effect can switch on early.

Awakening and dupes cost

License 5 caps Calis at Lv. 200. Each awakening star lifts that cap by 5 and adds a slice of base stats, up to Lv. 225 at 5★. Stars are paid in Calis's own shards, and as an S-grade character every duplicate pull turns into 30 of them. Awakening is kept if you reset the character with a Migration Core.
