Why this tier

Big Bad Goma is A because Goma Pounce, fed by a full Little Red Peach, lands at triple damage for 5 Energy on 100 ATK. Without her it is a plain 80-power hit, and a 3-Energy roar pulls it off before it fires.

How to use Big Bad Goma

Big Bad Goma only makes sense beside Little Red Peach. Goma Pounce drains her whole HP bar first and grows with every bit it takes, so with her bar full it lands at triple damage. That one cast is the whole reason to field it, so be patient: chip with Poison while you bank the 5 Energy, and fire only while her bar is full.

Without her it is an 80-power attack and nothing more, and MEGA TOMATO is the stronger Dark pick alone. Dragon Roar pulls it off before it fires. Flying, Light and Brawler hit it for double.

Each column is the species' own Min–Max range at its reference level — the exact spread the in-game Aptitude tab shows (an individual catch rolls somewhere inside it). See the Stat Rankings to sort the whole roster by any of these. Attack Speed is the Skill tab's Attack Interval: the seconds between automatic basic attacks, fixed per species, so lower is faster. Every basic attack deals the same damage per second, so a quicker one lands more hits rather than more damage, which is what on-hit effects care about. Each Swift stack speeds it up by 10% and each Paralysis stack slows it by 10%.
