Why this tier

Flameow is a B-tier stop on the way to Flamblades: Hasty Flames arrives early on 102 ATK, but 82 HP and a coin-flip Spark cost it trades. Evolve it rather than investing.

How to use Flameow

First step to Flamblades, Flameow already turns each Burn into a Swift through Hasty Flames. Spark only burns half the time, so Scorch is the reliable setup. 102 ATK is strong for a first stage, but 82 HP isn't. Evolve it into Flaricat and on to Flamblades.

Each column is the species' own Min–Max range at its reference level — the exact spread the in-game Aptitude tab shows (an individual catch rolls somewhere inside it). See the Stat Rankings to sort the whole roster by any of these. Attack Speed is the Skill tab's Attack Interval: the seconds between automatic basic attacks, fixed per species, so lower is faster. Every basic attack deals the same damage per second, so a quicker one lands more hits rather than more damage, which is what on-hit effects care about. Each Swift stack speeds it up by 10% and each Paralysis stack slows it by 10%.
