Why this tier

Sandlord is A as the Arena's stage passer: Gloves Off adds 2 stages for 3 Energy and Parting Gift hands them all on with no skill slot spent. A forced swap passes nothing, and 85 HP gives it few turns to build.

Trait · passiveParting Gift

When it switches out by choice, it hands its ATK and DEF stages to the Lumi coming in. Forced out by an enemy skill, it passes nothing.

Signature skillGloves Off

Hits the current enemy with a pointer stick and raises whichever of this Lumi's ATK or DEF stage is lower by 2; if they are equal, DEF rises.

Its automatic attack: a Ground hit every 1.2s for 12 power. That is slower than most, so anything that triggers per hit rather than per point of damage fires less often here.

How to use Sandlord

Sandlord builds stages to give away. Gloves Off raises whichever of its ATK or DEF stage is lower by 2 for only 3 Energy, and Parting Gift hands them all to the next Lumi when it switches out by choice, so it needs no Baton Pass in its skill slot.

The hand-off only fires on a switch you choose. A roar that forces Sandlord out passes nothing on. It hits for 10 with 85 HP, so send the stages to a hitter like Flamblades or Rhiniron, and expect Water, Grass, Ice and Brawler to hit it for double.

Each column is the species' own Min–Max range at its reference level — the exact spread the in-game Aptitude tab shows (an individual catch rolls somewhere inside it). See the Stat Rankings to sort the whole roster by any of these. Attack Speed is the Skill tab's Attack Interval: the seconds between automatic basic attacks, fixed per species, so lower is faster. Every basic attack deals the same damage per second, so a quicker one lands more hits rather than more damage, which is what on-hit effects care about. Each Swift stack speeds it up by 10% and each Paralysis stack slows it by 10%.
