B
Why this tier

Shadowbun sits in B because Shadow Cut needs Marks on the enemy to turn into ATK stages and a switch reset, on 104 ATK. With no Mark-setter the trait does nothing.

How to use Shadowbun

Shadowbun reads the enemy's Marks. Shadow Cut gives it an ATK stage on entry if any enemy carries one, and another plus a switch reset on a Light Mark, while Shadowblade Assault lands a Shadow Mark and adds ATK. 104 ATK is good, but without Marks around the trait is blank. Muskyx is the more reliable Dark pick.

Each column is the species' own Min–Max range at its reference level — the exact spread the in-game Aptitude tab shows (an individual catch rolls somewhere inside it). See the Stat Rankings to sort the whole roster by any of these. Attack Speed is the Skill tab's Attack Interval: the seconds between automatic basic attacks, fixed per species, so lower is faster. Every basic attack deals the same damage per second, so a quicker one lands more hits rather than more damage, which is what on-hit effects care about. Each Swift stack speeds it up by 10% and each Paralysis stack slows it by 10%.
