Why this tier

Bloom - Variant holds A on 110 ATK and a Leech cash-in that hits hard once the stacks land. It starts every fight with nothing and each cash-in resets the count, which leaves it below Thornbloom.

How to use Bloom - Variant

The Variant keeps Bloom's 110 ATK and Blooming Flowers, and its trait ties Blood Thorns as well as Swift to the enemy's Leech. Two Leech Seeds still set up a signature worth 40% more per stack removed, after which the stacks have to be rebuilt from nothing.

Its opening turn is weak, since the trait gives nothing until Leech lands, and Thornbloom does the same job without spending its stacks. Floragon's Bloom trait supplies free Leech, so pair them.

Each column is the species' own Min–Max range at its reference level — the exact spread the in-game Aptitude tab shows (an individual catch rolls somewhere inside it). See the Stat Rankings to sort the whole roster by any of these. Attack Speed is the Skill tab's Attack Interval: the seconds between automatic basic attacks, fixed per species, so lower is faster. Every basic attack deals the same damage per second, so a quicker one lands more hits rather than more damage, which is what on-hit effects care about. Each Swift stack speeds it up by 10% and each Paralysis stack slows it by 10%.
