Up to 25% weapon damage and Haste from missing HP, paid for with 6% Accuracy and a bonus any heal resets; Rose is the better use of Legendary Warrior shards, since Impale needs no HP management.
Darkan plays at low HP on purpose. Forbidden Power scales weapon damage and Haste with missing HP, up to 25%, and Price of the Pact drains HP every 2 seconds and turns it into Block, so he walks himself into his own damage bonus while the Block keeps him standing. A weapon-heavy backpack gets the most from it, since every weapon takes the Haste.
The drawbacks are built in: 6% less Accuracy on every swing, and any big heal wipes out the bonus he has been building. Celestial Shield, the usual shield pick, fully heals him at 1% HP, which saves the run but resets his damage. For Legendary Warrior shards, Rose gives more: Impale sends her damage through Block and needs no HP management. Darkan is a good second Warrior, not a first pick.
Forbidden Power — Accuracy decreases by 6%, but all weapon DMG and Haste increase up to 25% in proportion to your missing HP.

Stats. Raises HP by a percentage that grows with each of the hero's stars (max 9).
Darkan's bonus grows as his HP drops, so the start of a fight is his weakest moment, and Red Dragon's 40% max-HP hit covers exactly that window. Geezer's pre-merged shop and Mimic's instant merges fill his backpack with finished weapons faster, and every weapon takes the Haste his missing HP gives.
Accuracy decreases by 6%, but all weapon DMG and Haste increase up to 25% in proportion to your missing HP.
Only Darkan can find these in a run: buy them from the shop, or merge them where a recipe is listed. Effects, stats, prices and shapes are the game's own numbers.
