Whenever it applies Poison, it also applies 1 stack of a random other status effect.
Lumi Master/Lumis

At a glance
- Why this tier
Muskyx holds A as the lead of the Arena trap team, where Poison Swamp lays the trap and Poison Master turns every Poison into two statuses. It has no answer to healing, and Light and Brawler hit it for double.

Muskyx's skills
Fixed kit always on Muskyx, can't be swapped
Hits the current enemy and applies 1 Poison, with 10% lifesteal for each different status effect the target is carrying.
Its automatic attack: a Dark hit every 0.9s for 9 power. That is among the quickest on the roster, and since every basic attack in the game trades power for interval at the same rate, the short gap buys extra hits rather than extra damage — which is what per-hit effects key off.
Swappable skills choose which one to equip
Hits the current enemy and applies 2 Poison.
Drops a Poison trap where the current enemy is standing, applying 1 Poison to any enemy Lumi that moves onto it.
Hits the current enemy with shadow; costs 1 less Energy for each different status effect it carries (up to 5 less).
Hits the current enemy and spreads its Poison to the rest of its squad at half the stacks.
Hits the current enemy once, plus once more for each different status effect it carries (up to 5 hits).
Spreads the current enemy's status effects to the rest of its squad.
Skills marked "Used in official line-ups" are the ones the game's own in-client line-ups equip on Muskyx. See those line-ups.
How to use Muskyx
Muskyx leads the trap team in the Arena, and Poison Swamp is why: a 3-Energy trap that poisons every Lumi stepping onto it. Poison Master adds a random second status whenever it poisons, and Gale Slash heals 10% of its damage per status type on the target, so every stack it spreads feeds the lifesteal.
102 ATK and a 0.9s basic attack are good, but nothing in its kit answers healing, and Light and Brawler hit it for double. Charigon hits harder; Muskyx earns its slot with status.
Teams with Muskyx
- Trap and Force-SwapPvP · Arena ladder

Two traps go down on the enemy's side, then Floragon keeps dragging fresh Lumi across them. Poison Swamp and Earth Spike each cost 3 and deal no damage; once both are down, every enemy that comes in takes 10% of its max HP and 1 Poison, and Floragon's Bloom trait adds a Leech while it is on the field. Dragon Roar forces the current enemy off for another 3, and the swap wipes any stat stages it had built, so setup Lumi lose their buffs every time.
- DebuffsIn-game line-up · Status stacking into Entrenched

Muskyx's Entrenched costs 7 Energy and hits for 120, but it costs 1 less for every different status on the target, down to 2. The first two Lumi exist to fill that count. Infernadra puts on Burn and Leech and knocks DEF down while doing it, Glasnake puts the target to sleep, and Muskyx adds Poison plus one random extra status from Poison Master. That is up to five different effects before Entrenched is cast.

Each column is the species' own Min–Max range at its reference level — the exact spread the in-game Aptitude tab shows (an individual catch rolls somewhere inside it). See the Stat Rankings to sort the whole roster by any of these. Attack Speed is the Skill tab's Attack Interval: the seconds between automatic basic attacks, fixed per species, so lower is faster. Every basic attack deals the same damage per second, so a quicker one lands more hits rather than more damage, which is what on-hit effects care about. Each Swift stack speeds it up by 10% and each Paralysis stack slows it by 10%.
