Why this tier

PvE BBio sits on 4 stone lists and few units carry it, so a team shield from skill Lv. 10 keeps Verdorman useful in Bio stages. The shield is 8% against Drax's 40% damage cut, and the Taunt waits for Lv. 30.

GFC BThe Taunt opens late at skill Lv. 30, the team shield is only 8%, and there is no stone to break in the arena. Ari taunts from Lv. 10 behind a 75% team shield.

Overview

Verdorman holds the Bio stone from the front. Plasma Cannon hits every enemy for 130% every 4 turns and shields every ally for 8% from skill Lv. 10; Lv. 20 adds 15% damage reflect and Lv. 30 a 2-turn Taunt. Verdorman heals 5% at each turn start. Bio is on 4 of 8 stone lists, and only a handful of released units carry it, which keeps Verdorman in use for Bio stages. Verdorman is a good early wall there and little more.

The Taunt waits for skill Lv. 30 and covers only 2 turns in 4, and the team shield is 8% against Drax's 40% damage cut. In the arena Bio's stone value doesn't count at all. Drax is the better pick where Bio isn't required.

Verdorman holds the front in Firewall: Steady Three Stars, covering Bio in Defensive formation. Verdorman also stands in for Rem in Signet Core and Firewall: Double Electrical, and for Zero-P in Firewall Starter and Signet X-Grade.

The X-grade pick for the Bio stone while Rem is missing. Once Rem arrives, Verdorman still holds the front in Firewall: Steady Three Stars.

Skill unlock ladder

Verdorman's skills gain extra effects at fixed skill levels. The active skill can't go past half the character's level, and the passive opens at character Lv. 20. Spending Infinity in battle raises the skill level for that fight, so a gated effect can switch on early.

Awakening and dupes cost

License 5 caps Verdorman at Lv. 200. Each awakening star lifts that cap by 5 and adds a slice of base stats, up to Lv. 225 at 5★. Stars are paid in Verdorman's own shards, and as an X-grade character every duplicate pull turns into 40 of them. Awakening is kept if you reset the character with a Migration Core.
