New Lumi Master guide: how the Lumi Championship works

The guild mode that opened on 30 September runs every week. Our new guide covers Cans, Charm and fatigue, and alongside it we added two teams and moved Psykat and Bluesaur Goma up to A.
A weekly guild war over Gyms
The Lumi Championship is Lumi Master's guild mode. A round runs from 10 am on Wednesday until just before 9 pm on Saturday (UTC+8), and the first one runs from 30 September to 3 October. There's no sign-up: any guild with a member who logged in during the past three days is entered on its own.
Guilds are drawn into groups of eight that share a map of Gyms. You can only attack a Gym next to one your guild already holds, and the guild that lands the last win on a Gym takes it, however much damage anyone else did first. A guild that picks one target and hits it together takes more Gyms than one that spreads its attacks across three.
The rules that catch new players
Most of the mode's surprises come from rules that work nothing like a normal battle.
- Every attack costs one Can, Cans come from Home Orders, and any you still hold at the weekly reset are wiped.
- Damage to a Gym is the sum of your three Lumi's Charm, and Charm rises with rarity, so a Gold or Rainbow Lumi you'd never field on the ladder can take a Gym down faster than a well-built Blue one.
- Each win adds fatigue to the Lumi that fought: every point costs 1% of their damage and adds 1% to the damage they take.
The short version: your home base decides how many fights you get, so keep every building staffed, and build a second and third team to rotate in as fatigue climbs. The full guide walks through attacking, defending and the reward tiers.
The team we list for the Gyms
Championship Flicker Rush is built around Unicorn's Rainbow Convergence. Every Flicker skill Jellistel and Geniphant cast makes it 1 Energy cheaper, from 7 down to a floor of 2, so by the time Unicorn comes in its 100-power signature costs almost nothing. Poison teams and fast Steel teams are its bad matchups; check a Gym's defenders before you spend a Can on it.
Psykat and Bluesaur Goma move up to A
Both moved for the same new PvP team, Dragon Roar Armour Break (Psykat, Bluesaur Goma, Charigon), where every member cuts DEF. It works in the Championship too, as long as you rotate it out when fatigue builds.
Neither is a damage dealer. Bluesaur Goma's 30-power roar finishes nothing alone, and Psykat's flat 94 stats take double damage from Grass and Dark. They earned A as the parts that make Charigon's hits land.
Why it's worth playing every week
The headline reward is the Lumi Crown, which you need to raise a Lumi's level cap past 130, and the Championship is one of its main sources. Spend Crowns only on Lumi you will keep using outside the ladder: ranked games scale every Lumi to level 50, so a Crown does nothing there. Every guild starts in Bronze and climbs through Silver, Gold, Diamond and Star to Master on points, and rewards grow with the tier, so a guild that turns up every week moves up even if it never wins its group.
