Dynamite Blue/Characters
XAVerdict
InvestBuild Hyki right after Hyde, since the Stun on every enemy usually lands before they move.
- Why this tier
PvE SNext to Hyde, Hyki is the damage pick to build first: at Speed 126 the 80% Stun on every enemy from skill Lv. 20 usually lands before the enemy moves. The 5-turn cooldown fires only three times in a 15-round stage.
GFC SSpeed 126 puts the 2-turn Stun on the enemy team before most of it acts, and the 20% healing cut fits anti-heal teams. Past the main target the Stun rolls at 75% and 45%.

Overview
Speed wins Hyki a place. Sonic Strike hits one enemy for 250% and poisons that target for 3 turns from skill Lv. 10; from Lv. 20 it stuns every enemy for 2 turns at 80%, before resist. At Speed 126, tied fastest on the roster, the Stun usually lands before the enemy's first move. On attack the passive can cut the target's ATK by 8% and, from Lv. 10, their healing received by 20%. Hyki fits control teams better than damage teams.
The cooldown is the weak spot: at 5 turns the Stun comes only three times in a 15-round Signet stage, and Chemical covers just three of the eight stone lists. In the arena the Stun also weakens past the main target. Hyki is still worth an S in both tabs, because a Stun that lands at Speed 126 takes away the enemy's opening turn, and that matters more than how often it comes.
Hyki is in both arena comps built on attrition: GFC: Anti-Heal, where the healing cut joins Mou's Heal Block, and GFC: Outlast, opening the fight first. Hyki can also replace Hyde in GFC: First Move.
Build Hyki early in both modes: skill Lv. 20 (character Lv. 40) opens the Stun, the part that matters. Hyki is one of the best XA Selector picks, and the natural one when Drax or Ari already holds the front.

Skill unlock ladder
Hyki's skills gain extra effects at fixed skill levels. The active skill can't go past half the character's level, and the passive opens at character Lv. 20. Spending Infinity in battle raises the skill level for that fight, so a gated effect can switch on early.

Awakening and dupes cost
License 5 caps Hyki at Lv. 200. Each awakening star lifts that cap by 5 and adds a slice of base stats, up to Lv. 225 at 5★. Stars are paid in Hyki's own shards, and as an XA-grade character every duplicate pull turns into 50 of them. Awakening is kept if you reset the character with a Migration Core.
| Star | Shards | Running total | Duplicates' worth | Level cap |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ★ | 30 | 30 | 1 | Lv. 205 |
| ★★ | 50 | 80 | 2 | Lv. 210 |
| ★★★ | 90 | 170 | 4 | Lv. 215 |
| ★★★★ | 110 | 280 | 6 | Lv. 220 |
| ★★★★★ | 220 | 500 | 10 | Lv. 225 |
"Duplicates' worth" is the running total divided by 50 and rounded up. Base stats rise 3% or 5% per star depending on the character's grade.
