Tier listLumi Master

Lumi Master tier list update: Bluesaur Goma and Regaffin reach S, Xuan Wu and Stellalibra drop to A

Twenty Lumi changed tier as the Arena settled around roar teams. Best Teams has six more Arena teams, and a counter guide covers the team types you meet on the ladder.

Two Lumi up to S

Bluesaur Goma moves from A to S. Its roar costs 3 Energy, drags in the enemy's lowest-HP Lumi, and Meowgon cuts 2 DEF stages from that Lumi as it lands. That is the opening most roar teams in the Arena are built on. The roar itself is only 30 power, so Bluesaur Goma finishes nothing on its own, and Ice hits it for double.

Regaffin also moves from A to S. In Storm, Swift Storm lands 5 strikes for 4 Energy, each with 50% more crit rate, and a Storm team ends fights with that one cast. Take the Storm away and Regaffin is ordinary. Ice and Electric both hit it for double.

Two down from S

Xuan Wu drops to A. Its 81 ATK is below every Lumi still in S, and Grass, the type of four of them, hits it for 4x. It keeps 125 DEF, Rain on entry and quarter damage from Fire, so it still walls Burn teams. Pull for it only if you run Rain.

Stellalibra drops to A as well. Stacking Fortify still wins games on the climb, but every stage is lost on a forced swap, and roar teams now lead the Arena. A failed Whirl of Judgment also heals the enemy 30%.

Nine Lumi up to A

Little Red Peach and Big Bad Goma go up together, because each is only A beside the other. Goma Pounce is an 80-power hit for 5 Energy, and a full Little Red Peach HP bar triples it. Without her, Big Bad Goma has a plain 80-power signature. Without him, she is a 30-power hit with a self-heal.

Unicorn is the finisher of the Flicker teams: Rainbow Convergence hits for 100 and falls from 7 Energy to 2 as Flicker skills go off. Sandlord and its Variant pass stages. Gloves Off adds 2 for 3 Energy and Parting Gift hands every one to the Lumi that replaces it, though a forced swap passes nothing. Loongster closes with Rough Spot, a Water hit and a Fire hit in one 6-Energy cast.

Rochelon is the trap teams' second layer, with Earth Spike taking 10% of max HP from every enemy that enters. Aequor runs the same Stream trait as Clionia and turns every Wet into a Leech on 100 DEF. Netherfang has 115 ATK, and Hellfire Spread carries Poison and Burn onto whatever comes in next.

The lower bands

Five Lumi move up to B. Geniphant is the engine of the Flicker teams, since Dream Walker refunds 1 Energy on every Flicker skill. Screamhog - Variant adds an ATK and a DEF stage to itself with each cast of its signature. Merridoo, Rocktle and Shlump now sit one band under Unicorn, Rochelon and Loongster, the Lumi they evolve into.

Dancyduck - Variant moves up to C. It is not a Worker like the base form: it has 104 DEF, and whatever replaces Latteccino deals 15% more damage. It does nothing without Latteccino in the squad, which is why it stops at C. Levipup is the one drop down here, from B to C. Its signature is 40 power on 80 HP, so evolve it rather than field it.

Six more Arena teams on Best Teams

Best Teams now opens with six Arena teams that sit at the top of the page. Three in-game line-ups came off, because these cover the same plans better.

  • Goma Pounce Pair: Big Bad Goma, Little Red Peach and Loongster, built around one tripled hit.
  • Tomato Stealth Closer: Rainbowdeer and Clionia clear the way for MEGA TOMATO to arrive in Stealth.
  • Free-to-Play Dragon Rage: Rainbowdeer, Charigon and Psykat, with no limited or pass Lumi.
  • Roar Breaker: Rainbowdeer, Zaphound and Bluesaur Goma, a team for beating roar-and-trap squads.
  • Paralysis Ambush: Zaphound, Astrasting and Clionia, spreading Paralysis around the enemy bench.
  • Hand-Off Sweep: Sandlord builds stages and hands them to Flamblades or Bloom.

A counter guide for the ladder

The Arena counter guide takes eight team types one at a time: trap and roar, Dragon Rage armour break, Fortify stall, the MEGA TOMATO closer, the Goma Pounce pair, Flicker and Unicorn, Ice and Frostbite, and hand-off setup. For each it says how the team wins, where it breaks and which Lumi do the breaking, and it ends on a quick reference table. If one team type keeps beating you, start with its section.
