Dynamite Blue's gacha runs on Oracle, its premium currency, and on three kinds of banner that often run side by side. This page tracks every banner so far with its dates, and the rules that decide what a pull can give you. Read the pity rules before spending, since they decide whether a limited banner is worth the Oracle at all.
Pity and mileage
Pity is where most of a banner's value sits. At 30 Oracle a pull, the standard banner's 80-pull pity costs 2,400 Oracle, a limited banner's 180 costs 5,400, and a dual pickup's 200 costs 6,000, with soft pity starting from pull 175. Pity repeats, so you can reach it more than once on the same banner.
Mileage carries over within each banner type. Pulls on a limited banner that did not reach pity count toward the next limited banner, and the same holds for new-character pickups. A failed limited run is not wasted, but it is tied to limited banners: it will not help you on the next X-XA pickup.
The rhythm after launch is one limited banner every three weeks plus two-character banners every two weeks. That is more banners than free Oracle can cover, so pick one banner type to build mileage in and let the others go.
Where to spend at launch
Rem's X-XA pickup is the banner most accounts should pull first. Rem is the only released XA Bio character, Bio breaks stones in Signet chapters 3, 5 and 7 and at Firewall, and the kit works from skill Lv. 1, so a fresh copy is useful on the day it lands. The same pickup also makes the XA Selector free for another gap.
Sol and Persa are both XA Plasma Slaughters, and Plasma is the most crowded element with 12 characters for 3 stone lists. Sol hits every enemy for 160% on a 3-turn cooldown, but a limited banner's 180-pull pity costs 5,400 against 2,400 for the standard banner's 80, and no Selector ever offers a limited character. Pull Sol for the character, not for stone coverage, which Lain or Persa already give.
Count pulls before committing. A limited pity is more than twice a standard one, so decide which banner gets the pulls before starting rather than spreading them across all three.

Tickets and selectors
The X~XA Gacha Ticket is a separate pull that gives an X or XA character, with a 10% chance of XA since August, up from 2%. Hard-difficulty Signet stars and the guild shop's level 15 shelf both give one.
Selectors let you choose instead of rolling. The guild shop sells one X Selector and one XA Selector per account, at guild level 20, and neither offers limited characters. The Guild guide lists every character they can give.

Where Oracle comes from
Oracle is the premium currency, spent in the Oracle shop among other places. Free sources include maintenance rewards (usually 30, and 100 on 23 September), guild check-in at 10 a day, Signet Game star rewards on Easy and Normal, and milestone gifts when the official X account reached new follower counts. A monthly pass adds more for paying players. Claim the maintenance gifts and the daily check-in first, since they cost nothing and keep a steady supply coming.
Costumes
Costumes are sold in the shop and stay there permanently, with two exceptions. A limited character's costume comes back only when that character's banner reruns, and a Ground Pass costume reaches the shop the month after its pass ends.
Owning a costume gives that character 1% Combat Power and a small class stat: 1% HP for a Vanguard, 1% ATK for a Slaughter or Jacker and 1% DEF for a Rewinder. The bonus applies whether the costume is worn or not and does not stack across several costumes. It is a small edge, so buy costumes for the art and treat the stats as a bonus.
