Dynamite Blue/Characters
XAVerdict
InvestFree on every account and S in both modes: raise Hyde's skill first, and pair a buff remover for shield teams.
- Why this tier
PvE SEvery account gets Hyde free, and 160% on all enemies every second turn clears waves faster than any other Slaughter or Jacker. Hyde's catch is Slaughter HP and no buff removal.
GFC SSpeed 121 and a 70% Paralyze from skill Lv. 20 stop the main target's skill, with 160% on the whole team every second turn. Nothing removes enemy buffs, so Muro takes shield teams.

Overview
Every account gets Hyde free, and Hyde is still the first damage dealer worth building. Rapid Fire hits every enemy for 160% on a 2-turn cooldown, so wave stages go better with Hyde than with any other back-row hitter. Skill Lv. 10 adds a 60% follow-up, Lv. 20 a 70% Paralyze that stops the target's skill, and Lv. 30 an extra 30% on any enemy carrying a status.
The weak spot is defence. Slaughters have the thinnest HP line in the game, and DJ Madu's Network hits Electrical as hard as Electrical hits it. Nothing in the kit removes an enemy buff either, which is why Muro takes shield teams in the arena.
Hyde wants a status source alongside. In Signet Core, Lilly's Poison on every enemy switches on the Lv. 30 bonus while Drax taunts and Rem heals. In the Firewall, the Paralyze and Persa's Burn hand Hugo a status for the +100% hit.
Take Hyde to skill Lv. 30 first. Character Lv. 60 and three Skill Cores open the whole kit, and nothing has to be pulled to get there.

Skill unlock ladder
Hyde's skills gain extra effects at fixed skill levels. The active skill can't go past half the character's level, and the passive opens at character Lv. 20. Spending Infinity in battle raises the skill level for that fight, so a gated effect can switch on early.

Awakening and dupes cost
License 5 caps Hyde at Lv. 200. Each awakening star lifts that cap by 5 and adds a slice of base stats, up to Lv. 225 at 5★. Stars are paid in Hyde's own shards, and as an XA-grade character every duplicate pull turns into 50 of them. Awakening is kept if you reset the character with a Migration Core.
| Star | Shards | Running total | Duplicates' worth | Level cap |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ★ | 30 | 30 | 1 | Lv. 205 |
| ★★ | 50 | 80 | 2 | Lv. 210 |
| ★★★ | 90 | 170 | 4 | Lv. 215 |
| ★★★★ | 110 | 280 | 6 | Lv. 220 |
| ★★★★★ | 220 | 500 | 10 | Lv. 225 |
"Duplicates' worth" is the running total divided by 50 and rounded up. Base stats rise 3% or 5% per star depending on the character's grade.
